After two successful shows with CBBC last year, ‘Gimme A Break’ and ‘All Over the Place’, Joe has just finished filming a new show for CBBC that will be on screens soon. He’s just hosted the ‘British Soap Awards’ on ITV2 for the third time running and has more projects for the rest of 2011 that we’ll be revealing shortly.
During 2010 Joe filmed two CBBC shows and hosted the ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Now’ for ITV2 to over a million viewers every evening. He continued to host ‘The British Soap Awards After Party’ on ITV2 and really enjoyed filming ‘Back on the Job’, a ZigZag production for ITV4.
Following on from his landslide success being crowned 'King of the jungle' on 'I'm A Celebrity' 2008 Joe presented 2009 ITV2 show, ‘I'm a Celebrity get me out of here now' with Caroline Flack and Russell Kane. The show went down a treat with regular ratings of 1.5 million!
During 2010 Joe has become a regular on ‘This Morning’ for news reviews, summer Challenges and competitions. He reported for the ITV2 Soap Awards after party. His BBC 3 documentary ‘Ghosts’ rated 1 million in the first week, as well as his Living TV shows ‘Living with Pamela Anderson’ proving extremely popular!
Joe was an entertaining team captain for BBC’s hit teatime Saturday show ‘Hole in the Wall’ which is currently being repeated. He also team captained UKTV’s ‘What do Kids know’ alongside Sara Cox and Rufus Hound, also repeated this year.
As a young boy when Joe was asked what he wanted to do when he was older he knew instantaneously - to be an Eastender. That dream came true in 2003 when he beat hundreds of hopefuls to win the role of 'Mickey Miller' in the famous soap.
Eastenders however wasn't Joe's first time in front of the camera. Having trained as a child at the Anna Scher's Theatre School he appeared in Time Gentlemen Please, Casualty, Hope & Glory, The Bill, Heat of the Sun and Soldier Soldier before his big break
