Whether it’s reporting from star studded events, a sit down chat or making a news package on breaking stories from the world of entertainment, Lara’s cheeky charm always gets the best out of people. Her interviewees have included Cliff Richard, Michael Douglas, Kirsten Dunst, Leonardo Di Caprio, Cameron Diaz, Joan Collins, David Schwimmer, Will Smith, Matt Damon, J Lo, Alice Cooper, Jerry Springer and scores of others.
A trained journalist, Lara puts her skills to good use, also writing a weekly showbiz column and celebrity property features for The Mail on Sunday.
Lara has a staggering amount of TV experience at just 28. Prior to her days at Five News, Lara was a reporter for the BBC’s Liquid News. She’s has hundreds of hours of live studio and location experience in news, programmes and entertainment such as ITV’s Celebrity’s Exposed, Five‘s Greatest Ever Movies, Five's Milkshake, BBC2’s Newsnight and Channel 4’s Ri:se. She has regularly appeared as a panellist and talking head - discussing celebrity, entertainment and fashion and can currently be seen worldwide on E!.
Lara loves a challenge, is very capable and full of energy. She’s appeared as a celebrity guest on a host of programmes including BBC1’s Superstars: The Battle of the Channels, a weekly cameo role on ITV1’s The Impressionable Jon Culshaw, ITV1’s Win, Lose or Draw and has acted alongside Paul Whitehouse in BBC2 comedy, Happiness.
