As a popular Welsh Broadcaster, Matt is well known for presenting for hit ITV shows including Surprise Surprise, Good Morning Britain and previously ITV's award winning daytime show This Morning.

Recently, Matt completed a project close to his heart by producing and presenting a documentary confronting the difficult subject matter of Mental health. This was aired on Welsh Channel S4C as well as BBC Iplayer.

Matt's other broadcasting credits include: The National Lottery on BBC One, Channel 5's OKTV, Radio 5 Live's Fighting Talk and as an actor, Matt appeared as Jose in the critically acclaimed BBC Comedy Drama Gavin and Stacey.

Outside television and radio, Matt is a proud ambassador for the mental health charity Mind, the RSPCA and The People’s Postcode Lottery, for which he regularly hosts live events all over the country. In 2018, he has also been a strong advocate for eco campaigns, supporting World Ocean Day in association with Corona. As an active mental health campaigner Matt has worked with brands and festivals to help continue the conversation on mental health such as, Well Fest and Mental Health mates, in association with Wagamammas.

Matt has previously worked on the #1 podcast show “The Naked Professors” that embraces conversations about mental health in a vulnerable but relatable way. Now, Matt hosts the podcast 'Movember: In The Barber Chair' recording with a male guest each week to share an honest and open conversation about mental health.

Matt's other projects include his, ‘The Checkin’, a twice-a-week Instagram live, with guests from both the small and big screen. Matt has taken his passion online, to create a virtual sense of togetherness, and he is being joined by a whole roster of celebrity friends along the way such as Davinia McCall, Taron Egerton, Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling. As well as this Matt works with brands on social content, such as Fat Face, L'Oreal and Guinness.
