Biography

Ellie is a trained journalist and experienced multimedia presenter who currently co-hosts the TRIC award-winning Breakfast programme on GB News.

Having interviewed most of the front bench of government, Ellie conducts live interviews where she challenges politicians.

 

She covered the death and conclave of the Pope from Rome, anchored for the Kings' Coronation in 2023 and covered the General Election in 2024. Ellie has also covered the murder of the MP Sir David Amess, Just Stop Oil protests and the Prince Andrew case brought by Virginia Giuffre.

Prior to her work as a TV presenter, Ellie was an experienced national correspondent, covering the trials of Boris Becker, Wayne Couzens, Kevin Spacey and the ‘Wagatha Christie Case’. She also narrated large sections of the third episode of the Disney documentary, ‘Coleen Rooney: the Real Wagatha Story’.

Before joining GB News, Ellie was recognised as a BBC ‘Rising Star’ in 2020 for her reporting and ability to connect with contributors, having built her experience as a reporter at the BBC. Her investigations into 'Influencers being solicited for sex online' and bullying in the British beauty industry at the Victoria Derbyshire Programme became some of the most watched films in the programme's history, amassing millions of hits. Ellie has always been passionate about politics, world news and current affairs.

Ellie is of Irish descent and has a real connection and love for Irish music, food and culture. Her family are involved in the construction industry in London and so are very interested in the wellbeing and mental support being offered in the sector.
