Biography
Most fondly known for his appearances on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, Gorka has continuously displayed outstanding talent and charisma in all series during 2016-2023.
On Strictly Come Dancing, his debut saw him paired with Eastenders’ star Tameka Empson’s, which led him to assisting Alexandra Burke in the following year where they successfully reached the final! In 2018 he paired with model and TV star Katie Piper and in 2020 he paired with Eastenders star Maise Smith. Most recently he danced the series with TV Presenter Helen Skelton, where they reached the final once again.

Earlier this year, Gorka landed his first judging role as one of the head judges for Spain’s Dancing With The Stars in Madrid where we see Gorka use his incredible dance knowledge and experience to coach dancers through the competition.
Gorka’s flare for dancing started from a very young age. Originally from Bilboa, Spain, at the age of 11 he attended Ballroom and Latin dance classes where he quickly excelled and became one of the top dancers within his country, representing Spain all over the world. From competing globally, he decided to reach out to theatre, performing in the world famous production “Burn the Floor”. This was performed all over the world, from West-End to Broadway, he also toured Japan, Australia, China and South Africa. Gorka has also starred in a number of sell out tours including 'Here Comes The Boys', 'Strictly: The Professionals' and 'Firedance'. Strictly: The Professionals, return again this year, with more tours to be announced for Gorka in 2025!

Gorka is a huge fan of health, fitness and fashion - he is a qualified personal trainer and fashion model and also a very talented content creator, having worked with many large consumer brands.
